Trying to rule out ignition coils for my hard cold starts.
I found a site that says “most” automobile coils should be .75 - .81 ohms on the primary leads and 10k - 11k on the secondary.
If i read my meter right this one is telling me my coils are between .375 and .368 on the low and between 23.75k and 24K on the high on a cold engine.
Either i am measuring incorrectly, the general spec is wrong or the coils are bad?
Does anyone know the acceptable range of resistance on the ignition coil on a scion tc. This is a 2az-fe which has been used in the toyota camry for a bazillion years. Ignition coil is a Denso 90919-02244
