To answer everyone’s posts, the VIS hood works alright, it doesn’t fit perfect, but I’m satisfied. I’m not too sure what Shaggy’s laughing at - i don’t see any of his pics. Everybody else, thanks for the warm welcome though! (and yes, my name is Whitney and I’m a chick.)

Well, I’m not apologizing for all of you who dislike my ride. I could really care less. I know there is a huge divide between those domestic owners and import owners. I refuse to put down anyone else’s ride; however, because it’s all about the driver’s personality and style (and cash flow). So thanks for your comments blkp42e - but they went in one ear and right out the other.

Well thats respectable, I understand. HOWEVER, since I don’t have a mustang or a honda there aren’t a million performance products available. Most of them are bolt ons - which I already have. There also aren’t a bunch of good tuners around that could custom build a turbo for me. Even if there are - its too expensive for me. I do what I can and what I like. This sport is about individuality. I’m not going to go buy a honda or a mustang and pop a turbo in like everyone else. Everyone’s ‘welcoming’ me, but yet you are telling me i don’t belong here. Which is it? Maybe I don’t have tons of performance parts - but everything is top of the line and done right - the first time.

hehe, A 1998 black cavalier coupe, 5-speed. I don’t mod it because it’s a lemon/hunk of shit (expensive hunk of shit too). And before anyone else brings it up, I hit my house a few months ago and now have damage to the rear driver’s side quarter panel and scratches on the door.

Is that like a hoax where you send them money to sponsor you? One of the guys I knwo has the same thing and he never got a damn thing from them.He had to pay some type of “application fee” then they sent him a decal and calimed he was “Sponsored”… 
car is clean, but tacky w/ the fNf mods. But to each his own, maybe some of us will rub off on you, and you will get the speed bug as well.
also, there are shops in the area who can put the s/c or custom build a turbo setup for your car. Just gotta look around.
