The draw for the prizes will be held in the evening on the main stage.
Cool, we are also going to try and setup an online account so people can buy their ballots ahead of time. For those who cant make it to the show. I’ll put up a post when I have it figured out, hopefully later today.
$25,000 gets you the most craziest paintjob you could imagine, custom colors and airbrushing. Not to mention the bodywork that is involved. Unless you have a brand new car that just rolled out of the showroom, there is going to be dents, dings, scratches, rust that will need to be fixed before any kind of paintwork can be done.
As for the performance package, it includes all the labour to install all of these parts. We are not painting your calipers either, powdercoating requires full dis-assembly of each caliper and then a full rebuild. Also when is the last time you installed a full urethane bushing kit? That requires basically every part of you suspention to be taken off the car and the old bushings pressed out. Again something that is very labour intensive.
Good luck going to any shop and dropping a list like that and paying less than that.
man, I need to quintuple my rates if this is $10k worth of work and parts… last time i did a full bushing kit was on an FC, took ~ 6hrs with frozen bolts to contend with. Not sure about you, since you’ve only been doing this for a few years now, but that works out, with a prothane full kit. ~ $500… powder coating calipers, with sandblasting is ~$250 … with all those product parts listed…

with similar parts using koni/Eibach/hyperco/Esplier/prothane/ Full custom exhaust/CAI… fuel upgrades…
LOL $10G… wow thats like $5G++ profit potential… but I suppose it’s for charity and you need to up sell the product for a good tax write off and to make it sound juicy.
And free is free… so hey label it what you will… I would not even have bothered to comment except you pulled out that idiot statement about, " good luck finding anyone else to do it for less ", crap… like you were some sort of great deal fairy come to bless those around you with good deals…
Well if you are at the show, you can come to our booth and buy the tickets there. Or we are working on setting up an online deal where you can enter on our website. Hopefully it’ll be up before the end of the week.
You can win either the paint, or the performance package…not both lol.
I do not really car what what the value of the prize should be, if it is more then the money that people are donating it is awesome because of the cause this is for. Ill be donating for sure.
Hey Jordan, whats been going on? Last time I saw you was at Dirtpigs at Swiggers place right? haha Walkerton is awesome! Your “new” car is looking wicked too!
