in case you didnt know

last thing i want to add to this dying topic…Baltimore stacked the line for a reason…to force tommy to throw downfield(and stop the run) and to pressure him. if he couldve beat the blitz and make plays (like ben likely would have) then all of a sudden baltimore has to respect your passing game and in turn opening up the run, lessening the pressure of the pass rush. so basically balti didnt respect tommy as a passer going into or during the game and he didnt make the plays for the to have to.

as said before, im not blaming him solely for the loss, but at the same time he was a factor

you are talking about QB’s who when on offense touch the ball every play to WR’s, if they are great ones, might touch it 8 times a game. Of course people are gonna know the QB’s better. SPLASH!!! thats your argument blown out the water

ill take that bet…

you do remember that Ben DID play in a game this year against the Ravens and he had the exact same problems as Tommy did, right?

…ya, and i remember how we won, Ben completion percentage was 60% to maddoxs 52. bens 1 sack to maddoxs 6.

with Ben in there they had to be a little more conservative with their blitz packages. They still took us to a last second FG

ya no doubt. i mean im not sayin with ben in there we dominate them, its altimore and its gonna tough no matter what (usually). but noone can deny that with maddox in there our offense is 10000times for oredictable and one-dimensional as opposed to Ben.
