i was thinking of getting a less rusty hatch tomorrow for my car and i was wondering if it would be hard to install…for example there is wiring that leads from the hatch to the rest of the car, does that unplug ? ??

Fairly simple swap, a definate DIY.
DIY with some help … that thing is bloody heavy.
And you might need to connect some wires if you don’t disconnect them at the harness … which is well inside the car

i did mine solo… its much easyer if u have a second person.
its i beleave its 4 bolts inside on the roof. and 2 for the hydralic arm things. The plugs for the hatch are on the passenger side almost down in the interior rear pannnel. and the grounding connection is on the driver side roof. (needed for the defog)
