I own a right hand drive 91 300zx Fairlady Z and I’m having a lot of problems with insurance lately. Last year
when I bought my car I was with Wawanisa, after 4 months they said they stopped insuring right hang drive
cars and took me off their policy. Now I’m with Royal Son Alliance and they’r trying to make me pay $11,000 a
year up front and refuse to let me pay monthly. Now I understand this topic about Insurance has come up a lot
but does anyone know any companies that insure right hand drive cars because I need to get a new policy
from another company???
Are you kidding me?!?! This question has been asked and answered hundreds of times. How about you ask a dealer that sells RHD cars to help you. And as sharpe_corners said “SEARCH, READ”

you can try dejardans, i know im with the “sister company” to them and i just had to have a north american car insured with them for at least 6months and then they will insure them. And you have to get an appraisal with no modifications on the car or they wont insure it. has to be 100% factory… thats how my company does it anyway but its a groub plan.
Hey Unfortunately, Desjardin isn’t taking any new policies for RHD after Nov 20,2011. Brutal EH? they told me there is a 90% chance I’ll be getting dropped just 2 days after receiving this:
Dear Mr Trickey,
We received your e-mail regarding your concern about the vehicle you
currently have insured with Desjardins. While it is correct that going
forward we will no longer be able to provide insurance for right-hand drive
vehicles, this pertains to new business and new purchases only. As an
existing client you will not be impacted by this new guideline in any way.
We will continue to renew all future terms with no problem. We apologize if
there was a misunderstanding for your friend.
We see you spoke to an live agent earlier today and hopefully they advised
you of this, but just in case they didn’t we wanted to confirm that your
policy is absolutely fine. If you have any other concerns please feel free
to contact us.
