has anyone heard of this garbage…?
it installs a ghost dailer on your machine and then dials a 900 number and charges you $20 a minute… some girl at work got :owned: by it…
heard of that stuff a couple of years ago, but have never had any problems with it being on any of my machines.
I dnon’t see how it would dial out through my network card(s) :dunno:

exaclty… she asked me and i said that the only modem i use is to dial into a nortel system from the early 80’s.
i told her i forgot aobut dial up ISP’s
but appearently this is an issue with dial up users… just putting it out there…
sucks to be on dial-up still.

Imagine living out in the middle of no where… hell some of the more out there spots in Brownsville JUST got highspeed access in the last 6 months.
Anyone with in a 30 mile radius of pittsburgh has had broadband since 98…
hell, sonny, when did you get broadband at your house? like 97 or 98? I remember getting mine sometime in 98 I think…
