Is there a class that made the plumbing I/C pipes into the passenger compartment illegal? I cant find anything in nmca, but thought i heard something like that.
I remember reading in the NHRA rules that it was illegal to have air/water intercoolers in the passenger compartment. I don’t remember reading anything about the pipes.
maybe thats where i missunderstood it… im not sure if id want to have a pipe blow off right next to me going down the track!
i think you can have the water tank in the vehicle. but think there may be issues with the intercooler in the car if i recall
as far as i know, piping and i/c are not really ruled on by nhra general rule book. it is more or less sanctioning bodies who make the call. as there is numerous videos of outlaw style cars that run in car piping. There was a video running aound recetly where the roof popped on the car. 60+lbs blowing out a pipe–im sure he shit his pants.
