The transmission is coming out as I want to make sure I do not have any fragments inside that could tear up my gears, blocking rings and synchros.
opening up the tranny > blowing it up because you were to lazy to make sure fragments werent floating around inside the case
SHO MTX’s are starting to get harder to find parts for, and an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, especially in this case
and oh yea, you try using a hand drill on hardened steel while laying on your back and reaching around a subframe :bloated:
