internet style question

We are making some units that will be displayed on a piece of equipment at an industrial show. The units will have large special/custom labels for easy reading at the show. The labels will have our web address only on them. I feel maybe they should be in CAPS because I find them easier to read but I know web addresses are lowercase.

What should I do?

springvillemfg.com

SPRINGVILLEMFG.COM

Lower case but a large enough font to be able to read them. IMHO.

Thanks.

I assume I shouldn’t include the www. No need right?

How about SpringvilleMFG.com

^ Yeah, that works too and helps emphasize the company.

i would say go with something like this

I’m used to seeing websites in lowercase. :gotme:

Engineers do everything in caps. Drawings, love notes, etc…

I LOVE CAPS AND IT IS NOT BECAUSE I AM OLD, I HAVE PERFECT VISION. LOL

^ this

Make sure you use a good font too. I have become fond of Calibri as of late.

I third: SpringvilleMFG.com

I do kind of like that because it breaks it up rather than just a bunch of letters, easier to remember.

What about this… SpringvilleMfg.com

Office 07 mo…

This works. I thought that is how it was in the first post I quoted :rx3:

+1

all lowercase especially if this is going to appear multiple places.

helvetica http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helvetica
avenir http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avenir_(typeface)
univers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Univers

humanist fonts like Calibri don’t really seem “industrial” to me (or professional, for that matter). Helvetica in particular seems easier to read when using smaller than 12 font in comparison to humanist fonts.

No. That was all caps on the MFG not just the M.

I think I like just the M not the entire MFG.

SpringvilleMfg.com dosen’t look right in this font, SpringvilleMFG.com looks better. other fonts might look better though.

SpringvilleMFG.

Unless your clientele was 15 year old skanks. Then SpRiNgViLlEmFg.com :banghead:

You should do it in Papyrus! Total Mexican/Hispanic persuasion!
