“where do you plan on being in 5 years”

whats the answer

Just be honest and tell them your 5 year plan. Mine usually has something to do with being married and head of a Tech company.

they just wanna see if your are a “yes sir” ass kisser so give them the answer they expect.

I plan on being in a professional and stable environment, finishing school and capitalizing on opportunities that may come my way.

Or something to that effect.

I disagree.

When you say “capitalizing on opportunities that may come my way.”

They hear “I’ll be leaving this company as soon as something that looks better comes along.”

how about “capitalizing on opportunities that may come within the company I work for.”

the correct answer is

My answer would be:

To be working for a successful company, that appreciate and utilize my ability’s. To be thinking about starting a family. And to be a part of the company, if you see fit…
