I thought Nora’s iroc was in the 5’s already in the 1/8. I thought it was street driven too, I’ve seen Matt’s car on the street, it is such a beautiful, and fast car.
I don’t know them well, but a good friend of mine does.
ok im jumping in here my car has gone a best of 9.99 @136 last year and a 10.17 this year @134 thats with more timing and some good fuel if i pulled all the timing out of it i can run 93 octane ang 10.60s all day long and drive it all over town beating evrything around without breaking a sweat and still have my little blue botttle by my right hand just in case
oh yeah my car went an 8.95 @151 last year with little 225 shot
my motor is for sale too buy it and go 9’s all day
now that i bought a house built a shop and i got a little one on the way the car is the last thing on my mind right now

i went to pinks at zmax in n carolina. i been racin. i gotta make it to the moms events. i really like the show they put on. check this out from pinks
car isnt on the road this summer but Oroc’s old orange iroc is out in hamburg now and ran a 9.92 shake down run on a 10" tire.
wow, i never seen 4way racing at the drag strip before. thats pretty cool. why werent you spraying the competition timmy? or was that part of the sandbaggin for the finals? i forget how pink works but everybody sandbags it seems so they can get the edge.
we had heard it might be a mid ten competition. so i went 10.50 to 10.69 in hopes of being in the final 16. well they picked 11.00. but i was really pissed when i was in the lanes ready to run with my helmet on , rich announced that anyone that wheelies high enough for him to see theyre mufflers, that they were in the finals automatically ! i was so pissed cause i would of dragged the bumper for rich and the cameras…
funniest part of the whole trip was out of 430 cars that showed to race, i had the only street car. all the other cars were brought in on trailers every morning and left on trailers every night 3 days in a row. i drove my car from the hotel every morning to the track and drove it back to the hotel every night. you should of seen the look on the troopers faces every morning… they were smiling while shaking theyre heads and giving thumbs up. i had a great time.

My car runs mid to high 10’s n/a, 10.64 is the best I believe. Car is the definition of a Nos combo, ie, big cam, tight convertor.
im debating on making my car an all out nitrous car… i dont want it to be a dog off spray… id be happy with a good middle. if there was one.
so is 10.40 the fastest n/a street car this year ?
