Is the Magnaflow 3" catalyctic converter bi-directional? Like does it
matter which direction you put it?
I didn’t see any flow direction arrow on the thing but there is a very small
arrow of some sor (but I can’t tell if its just somethin or for flow direction)
I got one end welded already and just realized after…(save the ignorant comments)
Let me know
im pretty sure there is a flow arrow on it if i remember mine correctly. ill take a look at mine tomorrow to make sure but it shouldn’t matter at all which way its going. i didn’t pay any attention when i put mine in and haven’t had any problems.

Here’s a pic of the cat (no comments on welding). :squint:
The end that you see at the top of the image is where the flange would
mate up with the turbo downpipe.

I didn’t weld it; I had someone weld it. And as long as it’s sealed and not
leaking, I could care less how it looks.
Anywho, guess I’ll have to reverse the cat jsut to avoid regrets down the road.
hahah – you do the fancy blow up window but you don’t crop out hte weld…Gonad you kill me man.

Good for you Gonad for keeping a cat in your car. I did the same when I put my exhaust on. It will keep the noise down and your also being responsible.

actually a punched cat has been proven to make less HP than a test pipe or a highflow cat.
the broken material the exhaust gas going from a small chamber to big to small fucks up the flow.
and you will still get caught with a punched cat since cops carry heat guns now…

all they have to do is tap it with a stick and they can tell that it’s hollow.
