and it’s all over my entire car.
ROAD PAINT!
I don’t know what the best way to get it off would be…
I washed it. Now what? It doesn’t seem to want to budge. I’m about to bring it to just let someone else deal with it!

Goof Off (Kerosene based)…then once it is off, wax
Goof off will eat straight through the paint… Try goo-gone instead.
 but the paint has now hardened and is just little speckled bumps all over the place!!
goof off is fine for paint…I use it all the time
Go get a gallon of Wax n Grease remover from your local auto / paint store… it will not hurt your paint at all… it will just take all the road paint and wax off of your car… once your done, wash it, re-wax it…
cool… out local paint shop is roberts auto body… wonder when we can pick it up!??
I would use a rubbing compound that ive use on my old car and my car to take marks off the paint, and i had yellow paint on a red car and used it then went over it with a fresh coat of wax never saw it. but on new paint i dont know
aint that swallowing?
sorry on topic ,but had to do it!
Bug-N-Tar Remover
When i use to detail cars. We used goof off. Just put a little bit on a towl and rub the area. Make sure you got a bucket of water there with you also after you get the part you are working on done throw some water on it. the stuff is very nasty and willl eat right through the paint not jokeing. Besides that i would say clay bar
We use all BASF products… which tends to be on the high side $$ wise… but it works… in all seriousness if you want a gallon let me know… ill check the price from our distributor… you may not need a gallon, but its great stuff to have around for tar, paint, etc…
Claybar??? I would think that would work as well w/o possibly damaging the clear coat like some solvents might. I had stupid blue handicapped parking space paint on the insides of my front wheel wells for ever…shit sucks. Good luck…
Laquor thinner will do the job,u will have to use ur thumb nial or a plastic razorblade as well, but that will get it off easier than anything said above, then simply wax and ur done.:burnout:
use thinner, just dont rub to hard then buff it out. or sand it and buff it
