besides i’m sure most of the people on here will see me at one point or another ( maybe at wow, other car shows, flashlight drags, etc.)

After reading through much of the posting in here, mostly about the chick with the Tiburon and her wreck. I know you guys hate rice, and pretty much any four banger. So, should the members looking to join this site just leave, or take the abuse? I’ve looked at some members cars, and what they have done. From classic muscle car to later models, and I respect it. No, I wont be the one racing down the highway or putting a huge wing on my car, thats just not who I am, or what I want on my car. I think anyone with half a brain cell and decent taste would never do that to a car. But the people, like myself, granted I have a Hyundai, and from the response I see most of the members don’t like it, should they just get the hint and not join. But like myself, that doesn’t do a huge wing or bodykit because they think it’s stupid, have a justifiable answer to staying on this board?

Example: I drive a 2000 Hyundai Elantra, all stock appearance. Nothing ricey about it. (Yes, I know I will be bashed) But my father and I work on a 1986 Porsche 911 project car. So should I just save my breathe and not bother posting anymore because the onslaught of bashing will ensue, or should I just live with what it is and post when I can?

My point is, should the import crowd just stay away from PittSpeed, such as myself?

Hey Yamaha,
I just joined in the last few days, I saw the chick with the Tiburon’s thread and I almost thought I shouldn’t join. I didn’t want to post pics of my Hyundai and hear a lot of crap about how much it sucks and what-not. Then I looked around and saw there are some kool people on here and I’d like to attend a few meets to see some of the cars. I wouldn’t worry about it, you’ve done a lot of work to your car and you’re proud of it, you should be, it’s nice, too! The porche aint bad either
I put up a thread and I feel like I was welcomed to the site and I’m hoping to see some members at WOW this next weekend, too!(Might do the Hooters thing)
It seems like some people think cause we own a Hyundai we must be anti- other cars or can’t buy other cars…or something, I have a liking for a lot of cars and have a respect for someone even if they’ve tuned up their Geo Metro for the love of their car. Anyway, my thoughts, see ya at WOW!!

Thats what I like to hear. And its not that we hate rice, most not all. But its the fact your new. Its like have a big brother for awhile then you will be accepted.
