Java support / Java applets in Browser / logging onto a WAN w/ Android

Short Story: Need to connect to a wifi at school/coffee shop/any where with java applet security.

seems to be I need a browser that can run Java applets. Is there one? or is there a work around for logging into a wireless network who uses a java applet for its login validation?

I am using an Archos 70.

I have no idea what your asking…

Can someone translate this?

What school and what is used to log in? Is it Cisco?

he is on a shitty archos tablet and needs to the browser to load up a java applet, which it wont because android’s JRE/Browser doesn’t support applets.

ah makes sense now

I still dont’ quite understand why people buy android tablets and iPads. They are missing way too many “essential” items.

Sorry OP, you’re SOL. Dealnews.com -> Find $300 Laptop -> Click BUY button

ECC North, Cisco.

This is for my g/f she wanted a tablet, so i bought her one. this one was the best/cheapest option for her on the market at the time i was shopping.

SOL.

k thanks.

Go to the helpdesk and have them add the Mac address into the Cisco backend.

It’s trying to launch a java applet to download the client which won’t install on an android system.
