:crackup haha thats awsome

imo i hate this guys voice but he’s f###ing awesome he has the best job i wish i could drive with these guys .
has anyone seen them do a review on the vw w12 what a pos it has a ton of hp but don’t Handel look this guy up on you tube he beats almost every car out there.

i love how hes quoting specs from the GT while he is driving a V6. :haha

yah what a moron…thats a V6 lol…GT’s came with big fog lights in the front grill and dual exhaust molded into the bumper LOL

You just called Jeremy Clarkson a moron, do you have any idea how much experience he has behind the wheel of virtually every car produced for the last 20 years? Yes he has made a few mistakes and has some strong biases that I don’t agree with, but a moron he is not.

That was a pretty stupid video. I felt retarded watching it. :headbang :banana

ok…well it takes no more then commen since whether to know if the damn car has a V6 or a V8 under the hood…theirs only a huge difference in the looks department and a 100hp/120tq difference…

I believe the V6s were rated at 240ish and the GTs at 300 flat. If Im right then that is hardly worth getting a GT for most of the general public. The old GTs were rated around 260ish… and I loved smokin them in my GTP

If you are going to make a judgment about a man based on his one statement on a scripted show, I feel sorry for you.

The man is the god of the Automotive reporting.

im jealous of the Stig the most. they give him awesome cars and theyre like “see how much you can push that to its limit”

the man doesnt hate american cars like he coems off too, he does it because thats what people want to see/hear over in britian, the second he drive the ford gt he ordered one, but he bashed on his show, if you listen he does compliment the way cars are, even if he bashes them, and when he bashes them its usually something stupid like the way a knob feels, or the position of the cup holders, the mans as genius and i think he has a respect for all cars, its just not in the script

^^^ I agree, both top gear and fifth gear are shows designed to entertain and nothing entertains more then controversy. They find flaws and ridicule every car they have on there, its just the nature of what they do. They go crazy for anything British, or pretty much anything European that is not Porsche, for some reason they take a lot of low blows at Porsche, but America and Japanese cars seldom get a fair trial. I don’t use either of these shows as a guide to what car I am going to buy next, they are entertaining and fun to watch, they say things that are so un-PC that they couldn’t get away with it in this country. Like their cruise through Alabama that they had to stop shooting because they were literally attacked.

exactly, and if your watching this show to get a good idea on what the car is, your crazy, make your own judgements, it def is entertaining though and he drives like a mad man and i love it.

If you read some of his old reporting it’s great automotive literature, but this stuff is a Show take it for what it is… entertainment.

Tiff Needle is a drivers hero. the Enzo vs McLaren F1 LM segment he did would have fulfilled a dream for me.

He is the man, probably my favorite automotive reviewer, the one I’d liken most to myself in terms of personality. He seems very easy to relate to, and seldom spews adjectives around aimlessly like some of the others are known for. He is a very competent driver who makes everything look easy, very relaxed when he is behind the wheel. The advice he offers is down to earth and honest, not only on the cars he’s testing, but on driving technique which is something most reviewers don’t get into. He tends to be as unbiased as any of the reviewers, I honestly couldn’t tell you what makes/models he likes personally or what he drivers personally, most of the other personalities make their preference known to all, which is good and bad. Finally, what I like best about his review style is he spot on when he tells you a car is fun to drive, to me the fun to drive factor is extremely important and many reviewers ignore it all together.

I think as Jason Plato gets older he will easily fill Tiff’s shoes, he just needs to mature as a person and he has potential to be a(using the British term) brilliant reviewer.

lol i love mr. clarkson. he is a damn funny guy. i agree with the above, he knows his shit, and the script probably doesn’t let him deviate much.

honestly, out of all the top gear clips out there you post this one?

I must say, Top Gear north pole special was possibly the best bit of TV I have seen. How about the Elise vs Apache? or Blair era vs. Thatcher era super cars? That one was great!

I could go on and on

lol Agreed^ Maf, post the apatche one, i cant get it go load
