got a 99 jetta gls… only thing wrong is the head lights are yellowish and look awful just wondering if anyone has or know of someone who has ones laying around

I have rear brake pads they may fit that car. 99 is the Mk4 chassis, right? I bought them for my 01 GTI, then got rid of the car before using them.
99.5 was the start of the mkIV platform. Some 99’s were still mkIII
You can follow the wetsanding procedure, just make sure you use at lease 2500 grit paper. I did the same thing and used 1500 grit, they look ok, but next time, Im going to use 3000 if I can find it.
If that doesnt work, I’ve got a completly good set of headlights from my 03 GLS that are just sitting in my garage that I wouldn’t mind parting with. Let me know.

try using cleaner wax before you resort wetsanding… worked for me on a few cars.
