So where did you get it?
my thing with biking to work is i will be all sweaty when I get here.
how do you guys that bike to work deal with that?
nice one fuzzy… its got nothing on the hockey bike…
wheres SI01 to show off. his sweet cruiser.
ebay…
No fixed gear bikes… i would NEVER be able to keep up with guys i will be riding with… they are ride full carbon bikes
on the way to work i go slow and dont break a sweat.
on the ride home is another story. when you pedal enough you can go a hell of a ways with out getting winded.
no I haven’t, I have free icetime every sunday night at 11:30 with a bunch of the jr sabres so I usually do that
I mean you could still keep up if you had a steel frame, the saved weight is really only helping you for initial acceleration. However gears is the difference, my fixed tops out around 19mph whereas my geared bike I can go 32+ no problem
i am close to work now…i might start riding
I’ve always wondered about the weight of the frame itself having much of an effect once you are up to speed. General use beyond that of say a lighter rider.
(Ex. 140lb rider - 20lb bike versus 130lb rider and a 30lb bike.)
what?
my brother had one of those… when he was 13…
i have 3 of them…i dont like road bikes
I can get going way faster as well on my fixed compared to my mountain bike…
I much prefer my fixed gear. I don’t think I’ve ridden my geared bike in 2 years. and I have a nice geared bike, bianchi reparto corse. Fixed just works the legs more and feels more connected
I agree with you on that. I just fear the day I’m flying down Elmwood and someone whips their door open infront of me, I’m for sure going to hit it with having no brakes…:picard:
I think I’m going to hit up the one this sunday seeing I have off Monday. Real good time, it starts around 11 and some times goes until 4 am…
