Jon Boat

I have a 14’ jon boat that needs to go. I bought it in North Carolina and used it there for years. I have not registered it here in PA and I am not sure where the paperwork is.

It shouldn’t be too hard to do the paperwork for registration if the boat is sold at a yard sale.

Anyone interested can call the PA Fish and Boat Commission to check out what is involved for paperwork.

$100?

Have a trailer ?

No trailer. Just the boat. I used to throw it in the back of my full size jimmy with the seat out and tailgate down, or in the back of an S10. I didn’t have far to go when I lived in NC.

i’m interested and got cash ready to go… as well as means of transporting it

does it include anything like ores, motor, lifejackets?

a pic would be nice, or atleast a pic of an identical one

sorry,u need a jim boat!

I have decided to not mess with the jon boat and the trouble that it will take to get it registered here.

I can get as much for it as scrap aluminum, so it will probably be gone in a week or 2.

How much of a bitch is it to get it registered? I’d really really like to pick this up if possible, but if registration is retarded there is no sense. PM me possibly?

I will try to call the Pa boat commission and see what they say. I know there is a way to get it registered if you buy it at a yard sale.

If you can find that out and its not a huge ream in the ass to register it, I will buy it.

How in the world did you load a 14’ boat into the back of an S10? Don’t they have about a 6’ bed?

Let’s just say “some” of the boat was sticking out!

 I missed this post
