jrsc for 00 si any good?

i have a chance to pick up a jackson racing supercharger for 1,000 , its basically brand new, the kid ran it for 2500 miles now is selling it? worth it or not? i would just leave it at the 6 psi setting

just dont expect it to be very fast stock hondata makes a special tune for the jrsc and your supposed to get a descent set of #'s from it

here is a link to it http://www.hondata.com/jrsc_big_boost.html

but for the price i would buy it even if you just sell it on ebay you could make money off it either way hope it works out for you

buy it!!! kolars honda when it had the JRSC on it was pretty quick

If you decide to buy it here’s a great site for ya.

go for it but remember its still a honda car.

on a different note you can possilby find another car for that price that could eat up that honda but its all in what you want.

im not to sure, but I think i saw a few Si’s in the 14’s running them

It will make a difference, but remember you are starting with a high 15 sec car, so it won’t put you in the 12’s or anything, but you will def notice a difference. $1000 is a decent price. I almost bought one for 2K for my prelude before.

I don’t know kolars car was a solid 13 second car on street tires…also my friend had one on a B16 out of a del sol in a hatch at 8psi he went 13.2’s all day on street tires

did he actually do that all day or just a few runs during that day?

im not looking for a race car here, i know its a civic, im just looking for something that isnt a high 15, id be happy with a mid 14

Then the $1000 sc is a great way to achieve that. keep the boost low and you will have a nice daily driver.

easy mid 14’s the problem with JRSC is that it doesn’t flow the CFM at 6psi to off set the rich fuel curve after vtec crossover. put the 8psi pulley on it and it will run 1000 times better and still be safe

alrite, i just bought it…ill attatch some pics, let me know if you notice anything missing

heres the pics he sent me

congrats and good luck. :bigthumb:

wheres the blades @ for the inside of it :kekegay:
