My boss comes in and dumps a JunOS book on my desk today and says learn this…
Does anyone have any Ebooks or other resources on JunOS?
I have been to training for them and have a SSG sitting on my desk now but I am more into their SSL VPN boxes that we picked up and are starting to sell.
What are you looking to do? We just became a partner with Juniper.
I learned networking on Enterasys and then was a Cisco fan boy for a while. The JunOS is somewhat strange at first but the more I played with it the more I started to like it. It just looks weird at first when you see a config on a router like
set protocol {
bgp {
internal-group{
}
}
}

We have a couple Juniper M20 routers…I assume I will take over running them some day.
They are pretty cool. We have a SSG, a few routers and our company just switched to their SSL VPN that I setup.
We have sold a few firewalls which are pretty impressive even more so that they offer the JunOS with the ScreenOS as a part of it.
We did get a sampling of their switching platform which blew. It was their first shot at it and was very pooly done. I would like to see them after more testing and firmware updates tho.
