And you say I overreacted? You’re the one grasping at straws trying to insult me. It’s the internet, jesus. Relax a little?
And no, the Z31 is ugly. Z32’s are great. Z33’s are kinda bulbous, but it works. Even your A31 Maxima works well. S30’s are epic (style-wise, god knows what the hell they were smoking when they thought non-crossflow heads were a good idea). However, the S130’s came along and began a sorta confused era for Nissan. It kept most the design elements from the S30, which made it acceptable, but tried to add some “80’s” to it, which is where they failed. And then, the Z31 evolved on top of that, which made bad even worse. It looks like a design-by-committee car. It’s somewhat angular, it’s somewhat round-ish, and it’s somewhat flat. Everyone wanted their two cents put in the final product, and there you have a car with mixed up body language.
For the price to buy and freshen up a Z31, you can do better. It’s not classic, it’s not modern, it’s part of the dark ages known as the 80’s, where clean car design was an anomaly.
And what’s so great about VG30ET’s? Low compression, SOHC goodness + heavy as balls = slow and laggy. :naughty:
