Just another Pittspeed Noob

Factory VG30ETs have a tiny ass turbo, no intercooler, no bypass valve and no actual blow-off valve as it’s all integrated into the turbo housing, which was a deliberate choice to avoid lag.

The stock bottom end can handle well over 400hp, and the motor had such a long/wide production run that you can still find blocks like candy.

Also, last I checked, low compression engines are great for running high boost pressures. The kid isn’t making an unqualified endorsement of the engine, he just happens to like the platform, give him a break - the S2000 isn’t perfect either.

And the 80’s are way sweeter than you.
