id say hold it at about 6 grand hold the e brake and pull the clutch up to where it grabs and then just put the ebrake down and let go of the clutch at the same time
its just gonna bog down, there is now wheel slip on this car. To launch it well you are gonna have to slip the clutch a little bit. Its not much at all. You can rev a few times and then drop the clutch perfectly after a while. And seriously even though these cars are good from a dig doesn’t mean they are drag cars. Take the shit to a road course or auto x.
lol oh wow
my prediction:
he’s gonna break something, or fry his clutch …very soon
:picard:
First off, congrats on the new car.
Secondly, 145 on the way home? Now you want to launch it? Don’t kill such a nice ride. Something tells me that car is…
evo needs a drop
i bought hotchkis lowering springs
i just need to instal them
Awesome Ride.
im not planning on racing it was so ever, jw on the launching because its all wheel drive. and on did 145 once havent even red lined it yet after that
Mike when you gonna bring your car over to waynes at all i want a ride
:picard:
Im not trying to be rude or anything but its not awd because subaru wants you to launch it, its awd because it holds to the road in turns. If that were the case then wrx’s wouldnt pop trannies like its their job when you launch them hard repeatedly. The sti will hold up to launching better but again that should not be a reason to launch it more. I really really hope i dont hear about your car getting destroyed but seriously go to a track day or an auto x if you want to enjoy your car. There is no where else you can legally and safely put the car through its paces.
please don’t blow up such a cool ride
that is all
haha well im totally planning on going to the track
I’ve had my new car for almost 2 weeks and hit 85, holy shit I’m behind in the game.
<3 sti’s
