Just got my laser cut aluminium Nurburgring wall art. sex

I went with exactly what the customer wanted for the job, and simply had a second one cut for myself. I know exactly what it is and its not going to be hanging anyplace public, so the idea that few people are going to recognize it doesnt worry me much, very few people are ever going to see it

as for a 1/2" wide track, theres to many turns. once you run a contour .25 inside and .25 outside you start to obliterate the track. the inside radius’s of turns become points. the hairpin area overlaps itself, GP becomes a blob

as for the $200 GP track, its just the GP track which doesnt impress me, and its not even in the same pricerange as my copy of this project.

ive considered the clock idea, dont know yet if ill do it. I considered having “nurburgring” cut out of it but i didnt like the way it looked. I do however have cad files for “Der Nurburgring” and the tracks emblem still, so i can always add to this if i wish

these arent sized for anything specific at the moment, they are just mrked out for the size they wond up when i drew them in cad.

Lol, no surprise there.

^ that plus your fastest lap time there and car that you did it in. Which would be?

hahahahaha

lol newman with the zinger

as a solid piece, it looks like a retarded west virginia!

To do this as a ribbon instead of a solid piece would mean it would have to be 36x36 with a 0.200" total track width, if you want a wider track without causing corners to pinch or the GP track to start to overlap itself you have to go even larger with the overall size.

0.200 isnt alot of material to work with

Having the outline of the track is not the only option to make it look good.
