watch and enjoy… start calling in favors now cause this thing looks SICK!
damn thats sick!
The hell is he driving, a 1970s Cadillac? That’s a lot of dive/roll.
Its not dive/roll, it uses gravity to feel lateral forces.
i was thinking a bike at first until i read that it uses the force to help simulate g’s
wow
Very cool, but makes little sense for an auto simulator to have such drastic yaw/pitch change like that. W/o g-force effects it’s just a bumpy ride and would likely get annoying pretty quick.
On the flip side though, it’s absolutley perfect for a flight simulator, or for a bike simulator. There are plans online to make simple simulators like this with PVC tubing, electric servo/stepper motors, and a signal converter for the system.
Definite :thumbup for the effort in doing something like this though. The programming alone must have been quite a task.
