k7 Gsxr 600 stator problem ?

griffens didnt have space until two weeks away and seymours did so i took it there early last week.

finally after a week of siting at their shop and them charging my battery they saw the low idle and and the battery getting drawn dead when riding / running the bike. turns out it was the regulator / rectifier ? common problem. it will be a week before they get the part in which sucks.

i also had an oil leak of some sort which will be taken care of by the warranty but apparently my fi light that flashes once in a while is caused by my exhaust flap actuator which occasionally gets stuck ? that is not covered under warranty because its something that needs service.

so next week tuesday im guessing is when i will have it back

9 times out of 10, it is the rectifier and usually there are visible signs that it is bad. At least that is a minor issue.
