k7 Gsxr 600 stator problem ?

update:

just went over to a friends house to pick the bike up and take a look at it/ see if i could get it to work and it started up fine… drove it home about 5 min away from his house everything seemed fine and when i got home i turned the bike off and it wouldnt restart. did some more research and it could be a bad regulator / recipricator which is a common fault on a lot of r6’s.

let it sit a bit again and went to start it again and it started, let it run for 15 seconds turned it off and went to turn it on again and it wouldnt fire up again.

Not a mechanic, was going to suggest the rectifier / regulator, if you ruled out fuse / switch issue. If rectifier is a-ok, then could be stator, you can run a test per the service manual.
