I want to replace my spark plug wires but I dont know which brand to go with. The ones I found are Taylor, Accell, and NGK. Of those brands NGK are the only japanese one and obviously have a good reputation but they are more of a stock replacement wire.
What do you guys use on your KA’s?
What have you found work the best, or the worst?
Anyone who has gone KA-T let me know what you use.
Ty, my friend bought Accel wires for his S14, they continously popped out while driving on there own, not only that, they had shitty fitment, they didnt last long and arc’d easily…
I would go with NGK’s just because thats what i’ve always used and they’ve lasted long with no troubles… use 8mm+++
I have Accels on my S14 I have never had them ever pop out or arc or do crazy stuff. Thats prolly a problem with that dudes engine. I like them, no problems with them I would sudjust ppl do as they say and use di-electric gel since that will help when you want to change your plugs.
ya iv been running accell on my car since the first week i got it and haven’t had a problem with them yet. although, they are universal ones that happened to fit nicely.
I have sparco wires for my KA, it works pretty well… its pretty damn thick too and it’s resistant to tons of stuff like heat and all dat bs apparently. anyways here’s a pic.
Mark and I are running the same wires and they work perfectly. I have’nt had one issue on my ka-t and there’s always consistant spark with these through the power band.
Here’s mine,
If your interested let me know and I’ll get you a set through Phil and JDM Place. They come in red, blue, black, silver and purple.
