Kegerator help

I finally got my kegerator re-setup after wasting almost half a keg due to a leak in the coupler. I got a new coupler, refilled the co2, and picked up a new keg. I set the pressure regulator at around 6psi and the flow seems good, but I am getting NOTHING but foam. I can literally fill up an entire mug with foam and have it filled before I see any liquid at the bottom. I am trying to figure out if it is something I am doing wrong (this is only the 2nd keg in the kegerator) or if I got a shitty keg. Its only bud, so nothing special. Im also thinking I may not have found every leak b/c if I let it sit for a bit it spits a couple times.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

If the ked was moved a lot recently it could be roughed up like shaking a beer bottle it takes about 12-24 hours to fully re-settle

make sure you get little worm clamps on every liquid and air junction. I usually have my keg setups around 8 to 10 psi

i’ll let it sit and see. I have a feeling the leak is coming from the tap. That is the only set of seals I did not replace.

Is it an air leak or beer line leak? Bad regulator can make the beer foam as well

not sure. Everything it sits for a few minutes then I try to pour, it spits out a few times then its steady, but nothing but foam

the CO2 is outside the fridge, the regulator appears to be working fine, there is approx. 4ft of hose between the coupler and the tap

Try releasing the pressure from the keg from the spring valve on the coupler and close the valve on the co2 tank and let it sit over night. then tomorrow afternoon open the tank and see how it poors

wont that make the beer go flat??? I thought the keg has to stay pressurized???

i tried pressure all the way up to 20psi and all the way down to 2 psi. The higher pressure just made it come out stronger. I think I may have found the leak (missing clamp on the CO2 input line) I can hear the faucet pour when I open it and can physically hear the valve shut. I put an empty cup under it for a couple hours (started before posting) and not a single drip leaked out so Im thinking the faucet is well sealed. I’ll try letting it sit overnight and see what happens.
Just to give you an idea of what I mean by foam…

Yes, not just some, it fills the glass with nothing but foam and the beer is just about flat by the time I can actually drink it.

Sorry for the small pic, but it was taken on my phone

the part I dont get is that with the last keg, I had a leak that caused my CO2 to empty and the beer went flat… but I never had a problem with foaming. This time all i changed was the coupler and the keg and from what I can tell there are no more leaks, but i get nothing but foam

have you tried asking the people supplying you with this equipment?

not yet… i was going to stop down to carbonics today and talk to the guys. However I may just let it sit b/c this morning I tried and I got about 1/2 and 1/2 so it may have just gotten shaken up when I put it in.

Theres only a couple things that cause foam. Temperture to high, obstruction in the faucet, the keg being roughed up from transport, or c02 pressure

i have a feeling it was just shaken… I’ll wait til tonight and see what I get out of it.

If its still foamy shoot me a pm and i might be able to come over and take a look and help you out with it
