I was in NJ for a wedding I wasn’t terribly excited to be at this weekend.
But while I was in the Garden State, I decided to make good use of my voyage home. A bit of Mapquesting later (and after some fine help from the gentleman working the counter at the Secret Stash) I found a few View Askew landmarks. Yes, I know I’m an enormous dork. But what the hell, there isn’t much else to do in Jersey.
My wife and I stayed in Hoboken with some friends. It was actually a pretty cool city. They’re about 4 blocks from the Hudson river, right across from the Empire State Building. Crappy weather though, so I didn’t take many pictures.

The funeral home from Clerks, I figured while I was there I had might as well make a Dante/Randall I just knocked a body out of a casket type of escape
And last but certainly not least, the place where it all began and presumably has ended.
The owner is a very cool guy. We went in to grab some drinks and food for the ride home, and he had seen us taking pictures outside. Asked us if we wanted out picture taken behind the counter.
My wife took all the pictures. I forgot to bring my damn tripod. And we didn’t feel like waiting for someone to walk by, so sadly, no sidekick. Had we waited, it could have been hours. The Quick Stop is on about the smallest/least busy street ever.
