you paid similar for yours but by the time it actually GOT to you it was allot more … the 17K is also USD… not canadian. and you had to pay not only a tarrif but GST too ?
Interested in the wheels but they don’t have enough dish :o
Seriously, $750USD per set? Whats that, like $1000CAD after
conversion/taxes/customs/shippings/blahblah?
me? I have a GT-R? shit tell me where it is so i can pick it up!
He probablly confused you for Justin; I think both of you have the same avatar.
What’s up with the Nigerian on that page? :dunno:
I’m a brother man!!! leave me alone… oh wait no that ]'s not me… I’m a cracker ass…
it’s a buddie from Nebraska who was visiting co- buddie in Japan… it’s golden week there right now ( spring break for the WHOLE country ) so he went a visiting.
yep avatar got me, thought is was justin for a sec. my bad… I’m old and can’t see well…
Just curious for those who have driven right hand drive cars. How is it when you make left turns? A friend of mine had a buddy who had a skyline, and he supposedly was making a left hand turn, didnt see a car coming, and ended up getting smoked by 6 cars. His door was completely ripped off. Poor guy is now paralyzed. Seems risky, and I would be scared as hell to make left hand turns, after hearing this story. Sorry this if off topic now.
people have been driving them for years , my dad had a healy in 65’… what he said wa that you need to skrit the other side of the car then go
but then again they didn’t have SUV’s back then just 56’chevs and caddys to try and see around. the upside is in the fast lane you never have to blip the right lane to see if it’s clear when passign a slow ass in the fast lane…
I would be interested in a set of 17x9 and 17x10 also if the price is right. Something dark too. No silver or white.
I have a RHD car. Honestly I wouldn’t want it if it was my everyday car.
Driving in traffic isn’t bad but you have to be a grandma, do everything SLOW so everyone around you can see since YOU cannot.
I wouldn’t want to drive it to and from work everyday.
You can’t be stupid with it, if you don’t know it’s clear you WAIT.
It sucks but I don’t have to deal with it everyday.
Alright back on topic, starting…now!
i pm u about the rims but no response… pm glitchy? anyways msg me and we can go over details.
some of use work dude…
and unless your running a REALLY wide body and 5 bolts , these are not for you… _50 offset ont he silver set and +10 on the black set, silver size is 12r,10f, black is 11r,10f.
I have access to R33 wheels for ~ $850 us =shipping.
one point… as with here , there are allot of S body drifiters in Japan… as such their are very few good, ‘drift’ wheels to be had for a ‘good’ price… however if you make the move to 5x114.3 then my buddie said he can get all kinds of cool stuff at good prices too… were also looking at putting together a container down the road, say for fall.
Done. Will you be posting up a bunch of options? Looking for a 5 spoke pattern. Nothing mesh stlye. That’s just what I’m looking for of course, want them in the next 2 months for sure, have anything?
I think I need to make a spec list…
size:
width:
Offset:
Pattern:
Dish:
colour:
Brand:
in order of importance… this will help me GREATLY… bolt pattern will be set at a standard 5x114.3 nothing else. unless requested.
size: 17"
width: 9 front, 10 rear OR 8F, 9R OR similar. Looking for 255’s on the back 225’s or 235’s on the front.
Offset: Whatever makes the given width flush, sticking out a bit is fine. In other words, LOW.
Pattern: 5 spoke like a Work Meister, 5Zigen FN01(forget the rest)
Dish: Want as much as possible for give width and offset, say 2-3".
colour: Prefer polished, might go for black depending on the pattern
Brand: Nothing cheap. I want them to be fairly light too, as light as possible but not of great importance. Curb rash is ok as long as the price reflects it and the wheel isn’t totalled (bent).
Does that work?
ok now if the hacking session is done with…
what I meant by ’ pattern’ was acutal wheel pattern like 3 spoke, 5 spoke, bbs mesh or R33 style…
the PCD is fixed at 5x114.3
i thought so the first time, and had to edit in the bolt pattern :o
ok I have a lead…
polished
17x 8/9/95 JJ
offset
+30/+30/+15 respectively…
landed and in your home for ~$1500
made by D-spec
5x114.3 ONLY
