Anyone here do it? I was thinking about getting some gear and giving it a shot. At least that way it would be an easy, and low cost way to do something on the water during the summer.
I always wanted to try it, but never got around to it when I was in Hawaii. Should have.
If anyone knows about how much that shit costs too, let me know.
my dad does it religiousely during at our beach house,he bought a beginner kite for land flights for a couple hundred bucks and its about 3 feet long and 2 feet wide.this shit is dangerous.i was messing around with the ground kite and a gust of wind pulled me 3 feet in the air and busted my shit.i think he got his board for $600 the harness for $400 and the real kite for $1000 i think.so its not a cheap activity, it hurts, but very cool when you get the hang of it.
