i have a question.
have anybody done black housing to their kouki head lights?
i wanna know how it looks like before consider doing it…
should i keep it normal or do the black housing?

However, it may need the body kit to back it up.
I’m gonna take a stock body Kouki and tint the headlights up on photoshop.
well i have a white usdm kouki front with the jdm grill with a black oem lip.
(im trying to do a black/white theme sort of thing.) + black wheels Lol
thats what i was more leaning towards rather than the actual tint. but those are the vertex ones. i have no idea how it would look on the usdm ones

ive thoght of doing it but im cant make up my mind for my kouki.
for fun im tining my highbeams yellow to see how it comes out.
i might jsut get an over lay and do it black just to get a feel for it before i bake my lights

Stock is best IMO…
But if you’re really intent on doing it, Gavin, look into overlays instead of painting. You can remove the overlays if you don’t like the look of it.
he doesn`t want to tint his light he wants just the houseiong black rather then black out the face
I think it looks alright but its way too dark.
Not to jack the thread, but what options are there for the zenki s14? Anybody look into that, or is the only way to go kouki?
USDM and JDM kouki headlights are the same thing. It will look the same.
Heres a pic from the GB thread on Zilvia for these headlights.
Euro glass headlights for sure. Some aftermarket companies make clear covers as well (circuit sports, Final Konnexion, ect. ). Or just rip em apart and paint the housings yourself.
the car is sexy either way, but if you black it out it gives it a personal touch for sure
