KYB or Tokico local Dealers?

Any local shops that sell KYB or Tokico shocks/parts? Im looking for the correct shock lock/retaining nuts for my shocks. The ones I got with the shocks were the incorrect thread size, then I contacted KYB, they sent me a non-matching set and neither were the correct thread size (Idiots).

If you are having that kind of trouble just take the shock into Hector’s I’m sure you can find a nut there, probably with nylon too…

IIRC both KYB and Tokico use the same thread as OEM, seems like the stock one would work.

Hybrid or Innovative?

if you can’t find it at one of the hardware stores, try north-state supply, they are über cool, and have pretty much every bolt known to man.

KS auto has both

Their not the kind of nut you can just get at a hardware store. The stock ones dont fit over the new shock so I guess I will have to try hybrid, innovative or KS.

I have heard bad things about Tokico.

tokico makes a decent product but you can forget about their customer service. it took me a REALLY long time to get my warranty front struts back from them. maybe mike rembers the exact time but I think it is around 6 months.
