this is gonna sound like one of those bs stories but, My best friend works at the largest firestone in charlotte. he gets a tons of football players and coaches come into his shop, the other day the carolina conditioning coach comes in. he know my friend is originally from pittsburgh and they start BSing about rod and he told my boy that rod is lookin great and will be a QB by next season.
you don’t get it thou, rod put the ball where he knew no one other than larry could get it which produced spectacular catches. Why is it thou that we give bradshaw more of the credit than swan, its the exact same situation. swan made bradshaw look good and bradshaw made swan look good. I’m saying that the credit falls 50/50 for rod and larry.
i do get it, i understand ball placement but those great catches werent because rutehrford threw it to that spot and forced him to make great catches. im not saying rod is a bad QB but he isnt an NFL QB.
surely i don’t believe rod is smart enough to be a starting QB and do well BUT…he has the tools to be coached/programed to play QB. This all remains to be seen. I’mma keep faith in him since everyone else sold him out.

i agree w/ u that Rod has the potential to be a NFL QB…though i doubt he’ll ever be a starter. he did make things easier for larry, also…but i wont discredit larry at all…as for plax, yeah he was about to showboat. it was funny, but not the best choice on his part…i wont deny it.
was it funny thou only cause we were winning? don’t forget we missed a FG on that drive, its not plax’s fault that the K missed the FG but football is a chain of events and that could be a game breaker. all that needs to be said about what kinda person plax is look at the difference between the way he was dressed after the game and the way randel el was dress. plax, amad rashad vikings throw back jersey (atleast wear a steeler one plax) where as randel el had on a very nice suit with a over coat. If plax being the type of person he is shows its ugly face on the field again like it did on sunday he deserves to be benched.
