l wouldnt mind finding a couple of the 100,000 bills. I always heard that there were 100,000, and 10,000 bills but thought it was fake.
Hey at least its a true 100k and not taxed.
I remember looking those up online before for a paper in high school. Pretty much non existant, the people who have em obviously are crazy wealthy and they are very rare and worth more than face value now a day. I actually found someone local with a valid 10k bill and said he gets offers from people all the time to buy it.

Not if you had them.

If I had them, or rather that amount of money, it damn well would not be in single bills. Lets see… Uninvested, uninsured, easy to lose or be stolen large sums of money.
What was I thinking, that would be the best use of my cash! :bloated:

It’s hard enough to get your hands on a $500 bill. The Federal reserve only has / ships out $100 bills to banks and other FI’s so I dont even know if you went to a bank and requested a $500 bill if you could get it… You’d probably have to order right from the mint, and you couldn’t order 1 bill you’d need to order at the very least a strap (100 bills) if not a brick (4 straps), Plus you’d need to pay the Mint a fee, and have an armored courier service pick it up… The mint wont just fed-ex it, or allow you to show up and pick it up yourself.
But then again if you were ordering 400 $500 bills you’d probably be baller enough to afford the mint’s fee and around 500 for the armored service depending on where you were getting it picked up from and where you were getting it dropped off at.
I think they should make a new bill…maybe like a 35$ or a 75$ bill.
and a $250 that would be sweet
73-You can’t order 500 bills anymore and if the bank receives one they must turn it in to the main bank. There was a law passed back in the day prohibiting the banks from giving out anything larger than a $100 bill. They usually fetch about 2X face on ebay for decent condition as well.

with a beat that sounds strikingly like something of David Bowie or The Police
First off, the “mint” does not print paper currency, they mint coins. Paper currency is printed bt The US Bureau of printing and engraving.
And they stopped producing all bills larger than $100 decades ago. You can forget about calling them and ordering some $500 bills, it’s not going to happen.
