my350z.com is a community 10 times that of SON (recently joined), its impossible to keep up with the posts, and yet I still don’t see as much BS that goes on here.
It was never that bad back in the day, you remember those days when the 240sx wasn’t a civic? but what do you expect from teenagers that just bought their first car cause they read a magazine about drifting.
I cant say this site helped me along within the years, cause for the real informative info I searched other sites like FA. (not saying there aren’t any informative people on SON)
yet somehow I cant seem to stop checking in from time to time, I guess that’s what happens when you own a 240 for a decade
g35driver is a bit smaller than my350z, and we prolly have the least drama. We actually link to drama on my350z, it’s our best source for it 
I should start linking SON threads there, they’d prolly eat it up lol

how many of the users host well attended track days?
how many of those forums rely almost solely on each other for modifications

As you can tell by my user name I was pretty young and excited when i first joined which happend randomly since my neighbour got my 240sx from an auction, I had never even heard about it before, it just looked good and was rwd so i liked it.
But that quickly changed when I first found this site and seeing what the car was capable off and what I can do with it.
I would say 99% of my parts bought would be from son or somehow connected to son and with out son I probally would of paid someone to put my motor in for me and then I post my horror story about it, like many have done.
Son basically helped believe that if u put ur mind to it and research your shit and find rescources u can almost do anything.
Also without this site I would of never met Cal, the weirdo/clown on son 
You’re absolutely right SON in the past few yrs has become one big classified add, nothing but FS: threads.
Which hey for our community is a GOOD thing, but for a forum not so much.

No we may not have hundreds show up at 1 spot, once a year, you’re right. However we do have many regional meets ACROSS CANADA where 20-30 cars show up regularly, and have members drive across country to our “annual” skymeet.
As for the shit disturbers around here…same faces i see causing the same crap.
