I have a SPARCo 383 wheel in my car (same wheel that I had in the Miata that you drove). Also have a sparco corsa (for sale), sparco evo 2, and sparco evo 2+.
This is for the Miata I assume? I would seriously consider ultra shields before a corbeau. They are way more comfy than they look and you will be able to mount them lower to ensure adequate head clearance.
I have a knock off OMP wheel for the Civic and I love it. 350mm 4in deep dish in suede. Very good quality and it cost $57 shipped. I liked it so much that I bought another one for the Mini which is currently hanging on my wall.
If you feel like squeezing into the garage where my car is stored you’re welcome to sit in my Corbeau FX-1 Pro’s. I also have a standard FX-1 (non pro) which is slightly larger in the garage if you want to compare.
I had a deep corn in suede and it was amazing. Sold it to paul b. As far as seats go, recaro pole positions. Period. Have them in my m3 and there’s nothing better
I was actually about to pull the trigger on an FM Voodoo kit, but because I have the VVT motor, it’s going to be a bit more of a pain in the ass than I expected.
I’m settling with a beefy N/A car. With a tune I can squeeze out a bit more HP, I’ll be okay with that.
And by “beefy N/A car” you mean LS swap right? All kidding aside I’m sure that thing is super fun to drive as is. My civic is dangerously under powered and I still have a blast bombing around off ramps. Have you installed the steering wheel yet?
It was posted on CR.net for maybe 10-15 mins…I got it $650 shipped from Oregon lol. It’s mint!
As far as modding and wanted an S2K, I don’t think I’ve ever thought that. I’m happy with the platform I have, the S2K is a great car, but if I were to want anything more I would just do an LS1 swap.
