i happen to own both drews car (camaro) and ilyas car (maxima) and i feel that the quality is in the maxima, my car is a 5 speed with 190hp and for a daily it moves pretty decent, handles well and gets great gas mileage. Do i have more fun in the camaro, absolutely but i hear all these weird noises and theres parts that are just cheap on the camaro, while the maxima has nothing really wrong with and has no weird sounds and drives great
Should you really mention weird noises and all here when youre trying to sell the car on this site?
i loved my maxima.
i dont give a shit, get in any fbody and you’ll here them, its just the body, not like anythings wrong with it
Ive got a few rattles in my truck and its an '06 but nothing major. Just the ash tray/cupholder in the dash and sometimes the rear doors over big bumps.
i have an 03 neon 5 speed for a daily, and its great, 36mpg on the highway, i got it at 36k, it has 94k on the thing now and i haven’t put dime into it beside regular maint. i have no complaints. i cant really say i like Japanese, or American cars more than the other, my eclipse is great, but i can appreciate pure American muscle
:facepalm
This isn’t about Ilya’s car or Smokins’ car, etc.
We are discussing quality between the domestics and imports.
If you are going to tell me 10 good domestics cars is as good as 100 good import cars (talking about models that are produced that are good), then you are just being silly.
Each car has it’s pro’s and con’s. Fact of the matter is, generally speaking, imports are nicer, better built, and higher quality. That is ALL I’m getting at. I don’t know what the hell the rest of ya’ll are talkin bout.
M45 with Nissan Motor > New SHO with some Ford Motor
you need vagina. warm, wet vagina, and you need it all up on yo junk
:lol
who doesn’t?
LOLZ~!
I will say this much… if I found a Honda with 100k miles on it, I’d have no problem buying it. 100k miles for a Honda is when it just gets broken in.
But who here can honestly say they feel 100% confident purchasing a Cavalier with 100k miles on it?
Oh, and Smokin has no right to talk about power… He’s the genius who doesn’t know anything about supporting mods… I’d like to see him launch his car on a regular basis.
And all this talk about any real car guy wanting/needing more than 190whp? There are different aspects of racing other than highway pulls / roll racing. Not everyones a mad tyte street racer…
My truck has 300 hp. Do I need it? Most likely not but its nice to have it.
but even then whp doesn’t mean shit without throwing power to weight in there.
True. 300hp and the truck is a dog off the line.

Let’s see…
The only thing the Domestic market won is the truck? Sounds about right.
I struggle to find points where domestics are better. Close to equivalent/comparable yeah, better no.
Nice to see Hyundai getting some recognition.
ive been thinking about a g35x, hmmm makes me think a little harder
my uncle has my grandfathers old hand me down 93 GMC 1500. Has the 5.3 Vortec…346k on it…bone stock motor, bone stock tranny…still runs strong every day and has been a work truck all its life.
enlighten me genious on not knowing anything about suppoting mods? I have EVERY SINGLE supporting mod I need on my car because drag radials.
So you’ll race from a launch now? no problem? **Genius
