don’t worry click lazy, pics are at the bottom of the post.
HTC touch has me intrigued. The iPhone has me intrigued, but in a negative way. From this morning’s searching I was doing, I think I have found something as innovative that will be better than the iPhone. I don’t think it will come close to outselling the iPhone.
of course engadget had some pics and story about it. i’m actually surprised our own engadget RSS feed nyspeed bot, “Rubicant” didn’t have a thread on this already.
So, ah, what’s the deal? I’m too lazy to read. It looks like a phone with a decent sized touch screen instead of a smaller screen and keypad?

that’s part of the idea. it lets you use your finger to navigate around the phone, but it can also detect when you are using a stylus for more precise inputs. something i wish my treo was capable of. plus it’s 3G enabled
I saw some stuff about it yesterday, but what I want to know is - does it have a keyboard??? I know this touch sensitive crap is all the rage now, but my fat fingers suck at touching a screen keyboard. I like the slideout on my 6700.
I think the HTC Herald is what I am leaning towards

July 18th the 6800 will be out. The Herald is an old handset and GSM only so if you are switching to Cingular, you are safe with the Herald, sticking with Verizon, that phone is not going to work.
i’m going to stick with my treo for right now. i’m a huge fag and will probably end up with an iPhone in my hands and my foot in my mouth. i’m really intrigued about this new HTC though.
