With over 150 years of looming experience, ToMoCo owns a rotary weaver – one of two in existence – which it repurposed to create the carbon fiber A-pillars on the LFA.

Gen Auto.
Fail.
I think of it like this. I buy Ansell condoms. Not because the name sounds sexy and inspiring or desirable, but because i trust their engineering. I do not desire to simply own them for the name sake, but i do desire to use them.
Take off the badges (get naked) and drive till your hearts content.

This thing sounds sooooo good!
I don’t like how jittery the tach is. I understand why it’s like that, I just don’t like it. Seems like it would be very distracting. But yes, I agree that it sounds phenomenal.
And for the interview to buy it- you only need a resume, birth certificate, proof of citizenship and to be a millionaire who lives in a mansion, goes to expensive restaurants/parties and be someone who wont keep it garage kept all the time. Oh and your background must be impeccable(sp?) as well.
Normal folk need not apply.
Also you can only lease it in the US.
Japanese buyers have already spoken for that country’s entire allotment. Even though Continental European buyers must travel to England to procure the car, the details are all in place. Notice that in the previous two sentences we used the word “buyers.” Cutthroat American capitalists will only be able to lease the creased-like-origami coupe, and they’ll need to be hand-picked by Lexus for the honor.
According to the Wall Street Journal, “People selected to purchase the car will be based on factors such as the other cars they own, where they live, and how often and where they drive.” This is Lexus’ halo car, and they want that halo to shine so bright you’re blinded by the light. Said the manager of Lexus college, “We want it to be seen on the right roads, in front of the right restaurants and not just being enjoyed by one individual in their private garage.”
More awesome sounds in the first part of this vid:
That video was ruined by that background music… not that the music itself sucked, but that they used it instead of the engine noise of the car. The LFA doesn’t need background music!
it does need a price reducation however, ill take a TT Ford GT in place of this please, with an appetizer TT Viper and 911
