Alright well basically im just wondering if there is a way for me to buy one of the old dare license plates off of someone and have it transfered for my car. I really want one of the old black ones for my new subaru, but of course they dont make the black ones anymore. I have heard that your not allowed to do that since they dont make them anymore, or whatever. But then i also just heard a buddy of mine did that for his car. I was just seeing if anyone knows if your allowed to transfer them. If your allowed, anyone trying to sell???

no dice… i got one… and i can transfer it. but i am like 99% sure that it cant transfew person to person though.
they will bring the black ones back. i talked to the lady at AAA said she has only had one request since they changed like 9 months… and usually got like 4-5 a week. so they will switch back if they are smart at all.
