Awesome site. I really would love to do some urban exploring again around here, but I worry about asbestos and floors falling from underneath me. There is a certain chill you get when you are sitting alone in a huge abandoned building or whatever.
Edit: looking through the rest of the pics…some places look as though they were evacuated. Like everyone dropped everything and left ASAP…

There are so many significant abandoned buildings in downtown detriot, the cadillac hotel was the one that really stuck out for me when I lived there. Westin actually restored the building in 2008 after 20 years of sitting vacant so I guess there might be some hope yet for Detriot.
