I like Canada and have much respect for Canadians. I do like to trash talk them whenever I get the chance and having a victory over them would’ve been sweet.

I’m happy with the silver. The US wasn’t suppose to medal at all. They did the near impossible. Canada was heavily favored to win gold the entire time. It took them OT to do it. Congratulations to Canada and all hockey fans! This tournament was one for the ages! Just hockey at it’s best.
It means one of two things as far as the US goes, either Canada isn’t as good as everyone thought, or the US is just as good. I think it’s been proven that the US did deserve to be playing for the gold. They did what it took to get that far and to force OT against such a heavily favored opponent is really a spectacular effort!
This post bugs me. Yes we are far from perfect as a country and due to some former leaders screwing us in the past, we are in debt.
Maybe the next time some little country comes to the UN in need of help in some way, Canada steps up and takes the lead for once.
Since Canada is so rich and all, let them donate the most aid, send soldiers to fight another’s war, etc.
I thought the game was really entertaining and was super stoked to see it go to overtime. Deff a bummer to not win though.

No country is perfect. You think Canada is perfect? think again…we have a lot of our own problems too. People are taking on low interest mortgages like no tomorrow here. Once these interest rates increase, people wont be able to afford the houses anymore and they’ll go bankrupt.
Honestly, I think it’s that the US was better than everyone thought. They played really friggen well. I was impressed. And if the US would have won, I would not have been upset at all. Great teams, great games.
