hey just wondering where the engine temp sensor is on the SR i think mine needs to be replaced
thanx
I’m assuming you mean coolant temp? It’s right under the throttlebody, there is actually 2 of them, one is for your gauge clkuster and the other goes back to your ecu.
i’m looking for the one that goes to my ECU cause aparently my car thinks its cold all the time and keeps running rich and idleing wierd
not meaning to jack the thread but would anyone know the part number for the coolent sensor for the guage cluster on the sr??? or a part from another engine (ie sr20de) ?

Did anyone get back to you on this?
I’m having the same problem and am not sure where to look.
nope didnt really get an anwser
I’ve been looking through the FSM and it only refers to the temp sensor near the front of the engine just beside and below the TPS.
I think my problem may be the air regulator… maybe…
hope this helps.
coolant temp sensor is located between throttle body and the engine (@ intake manifold and seat a little bit behind about one and 2 inch deeper) u will see 2 sensor in there…the one with one pin wire going to it…is for the gauge…and another with 2 pin wire (the plug i think is a square one) is the temp sensor for the ecu…hope this will help!
sweet found it now does any one know where i can pick up an engine tempsensor(the one for the ECU) thanx
i need one too if u find one let me know. thanks.
its attached to to the exhaust manifold you msut remove the turbo to get at it
