i’ve gone to autohaus after they were closed to get coolant (doing a waterpump) the owner opened the parts counter for me and cashed me out on a calculator. got the waterpump done that night, could deliver the following day…

So anyway, today was interesting.

Mom calls me up at 5:15PM and is like “my car is dead, help?”

She happened to be at this mall called the Galleria (no way! ANOTHER galleria?) where about 3 months ago some Level 3 sex offender raped and murdered this woman.

So I’m freakin’ out, I leave work early, catch the train, then bus back home, get my tools and jumper cables and hop in the S2000.

Go pick give her a jump, battery to battery to test to see if the battery can still hold a charge. Nothing.

Battery to chassis, works no problem. So we get the car home on the alt.

Go eat dinner. Come back, try to start, dead.

So I take the old battery out and rush to sears.

By the time I get there, it’s 8:55PM. Sears closes at 9, but the auto center closes at 8:30PM.

I walk in, the guy is like “sorry we are closed.”

I’m like “all i need is a battery!!!”

“Sorry man, the register is closed.”

So I walk back out, defeated.

He runs out, and says “Wait, you drive that stook? I can’t let a fellow stook owner down!”

He points at his 2001 spa yellow. He then goes into the back and rings the battery up at a different register. UGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!

Then he curses me out because I have a 2002 with a glass window.

Then we shoot the shit and I go home.

Holla at the Hoooonda bois lookin’ out for each other lol.
