my family had a 21’ open bow. only had 2 wheels.
who cares whos boat it is, who cares who took it out! its the fact the guy hit a poll and sent the boat on top of the truck. thats all this thread was intended for. not to guess who was driving the truck or if he was drunk.
hey maybe the pull stepped in front of the driver.
and have you ever tried pushing a boat off a trailer when its not wet and the arms holding the boat are not wet, doesnt want to move all that much. put it in the water and it slides like a mother fucker on those arms.
LOL what?
A boat is easier to move off a trailer when it is in the water because of a thing called buoyancy.
The intention of the thread was to provide entertainment and a topic of discussion, not to simply gawk at…
I also have been boating all my life, thanks, and I’ve never seen a pole step out in front of anyone.
whats the big deal? disconnect the trailer… back the truck up and continue on your drive home…
lol the pole was a joke. and i wasnt talking about the boat being in water. i was talking about the arms the boat is on being wet or dry. since you have been boating you know what i mean. when a trailer goes in the water and comes out, its all wet! the arms the boat sits on are still wet and slide easier than when dry.
no way that would work, i think he might have some engine coolant problems to worry about with your plan…
I guess you’re right, in that wet rungs will have a lower coefficient of friction (I’m no engineer, so just a guess). I’ve just never pushed a boat off onto dry land before. In any case, tie-down straps would’ve done this guy a load of good in helping to keep the boat where it belongs. My pointing out everything else is simply to help flesh out a theory that the guy must have been inexperienced.
:word: His trailer just became obsolete. Now he’s going to make millions selling his new idea: roof racks that hold boats.
You’re no engineer but you sure do talk fancy.
Thanks, I guess I did pay attention in physics all those years back.
awesome.
well for me its usually my jetski, we have a ramp we built with carpet on it, when dry, what a bitch to push off it, when wet that thing wont stay up.
looks like this truck raped by a boat.
wow. lol.
less chat more lol.
ahahah dam it i never thought i would see this
This reminds me in the village of hamburg about 4 years back…pulling up to a stop sign and i see a truck and trailer go through the intersection followed by the boat sitting in the middle off the trailer. I let the guy use my cell phone, then asked about the back straps. All I got was…“they keep breaking my tail lights and i got sick of changing the lights so i quit using the straps” Also followed up with “i forgot to use the chain on the front hook” I sat back and laughed at the guy with the cop.
i accidentally my boat into my truck into a pole
lol the light still works, its green go!
