ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - A 34 inch curly french fry from a hot dog stand in Orchard Park is putting Western New York in the national spotlight.
Last Thursday, John Benbenek and Ryan Vedder recieved the extremley long fry in an order at Taffy’s Hot Dog Stand on Orchard Park Road.
The fry is so long, producers from the Tonight Show With Jay Leno have agreed to do a live interview with Benbenek and Vedder at Taffy’s. It will air on Wednesday night’s episode at 11:35 p.m. on Channel 2.
Benbenek and Vedder are also trying to get the fry certified as the longest in the world by the Guiness Book of World Records. It’s also up for auction on eBay.
Sadly I know him. He dated my sister a long time ago, and he’s apparently still a douche. I can only imagine he’s the type of person who would measure his french fries to find the longest.
I asked a question about the item but is hasn’t shown up yet.

The french fry has virtually no smell to it. I can’t smell anything when I put my nose up to it. If you want to put it on your mantle in your living room, we would be honored.
